The site of Ekta Nursery is exceptionally picturesque, situated in the valley formed by the majestic Vindyachal and Satpuda mountain ranges, along the banks of Narmada river. The aesthetic exquisiteness can only be experienced rather than told. The breath-taking view of the world`s tallest statue can be seen from the viewing point at the nursery.
Statue of Unity is becoming more diverse every single day. With a ton of activity one can do during their visit to the Statue of Unity, there are certainly new places to see and learn from.
When tired after a day of roaming around the wonders in the area. Ekta Nursery will provide solace and peace. The central part of the nursery is dedicated to displaying the ethnic tribal culture of the region. A tribal hut containing various artefacts used by the locals depicts the native culture to the visitors. Souvenir shops have been set up and is run by Gujarat Forest Development Corporation and Cottage & Rural Industries Department.
Recently, a workshop showcased how a tribal woman moulded art pieces from the waste at the Ekta Nursery. The demonstration is for tourists and can be great learning experienced.
