So far 5 smart schools were started. 4 more smart schools have been added to it so now 9 smart schools have been started. Rs 2 crore has been spent per smart school. Thus 4 smart schools have been built at a cost of Rs 8 crore.
At present, they have turned to the option of a government school instead of a private school. Due to the economic situation in Corona and the facilities provided at the Corporation School, the wear and tear at the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) School has increased. The corporation is also trying to provide better facilities as the people`s wear and tear is increasing.

Ahmedabad Municipal School Board Chairman Dhirendrasinh Tomar said, that the smart school has been started with the objective of getting more people to study in the corporation school for free.
It costs around Rs 2 crore to build a smart school. Different arrangements have been made in the smart school according to different standards. The company was contracted to build the smart school. He has also trained smart school teachers.
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation`s smart school is designed to compete with private schools. Different types of classes have been prepared in the smart school.
Facilities including 3D class for young children, game and cartoon based French benches for children, Future classroom, math and science lab, multi play-station, telescope, science lab, planetarium have been set up.
There are currently 5 schools functioning in the city. While 4 municipal schools have been turned into smart schools. Which will be turned on soon. 2 in Asarwa area, 1-1 smart schools will be started in Behrampura and Saijpur.
In smart school children will study on computer. Due to smart school, the quality of teaching will increase and the interest in teaching children will also increase.
