Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi will skip the September 1 rally in south Gujarat, much to the disappointment of party cadres. Gandhi was to kick off Congress’s campaign for the upcoming state Assembly elections at the Valsad rally. Instead of addressing tribal voters in Valsad, the Congress scion has left for the Norwegian capital Oslo to meet political and business leaders. The Congress scion will also miss ally RJD’s show of strength rally in Patna on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting and exchanging ideas with political and business leaders and research institutions,” Gandhi tweeted on Friday.
