RBSE Class X pass rate highest in 12 years

A total 8, 44,909 students passed the examination while 73, 810 students got supplementary.More than three lakh students passed with first division; 3.92 lakh passed with second division and 1.44 lakh passed with third division. AJMER: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education ( RBSE ) on Monday announced the Class X results. The result of regular students remained 80.13% and result of private students was 14.55%.In 2006, the result of secondary board examination was 49.49% which fell to 45.25% in 2007. In 2017, the result of secondary board was 78.96% and this year it increased nearly by one percent.Devnani claimed that the result of secondary board exam is improving because of qualitative education in government schools. “Results of government schools seem to be better than that of private schools,” he said.This is the second year when board has not released the merit list of first ten students because of cut-throat competition in schools and among students.

AJMER: Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education ( RBSE ) on Monday announced the Class X results. At 79.86%, it was the highest in the last 12 years.Result of government schools was recorded to be 77.02% whereas private schools performed better with 83.31% of their students clearing the exams.State minister of education Vasudev Devnani, while announcing the results, said that girls had performed slightly better than the boys. “While 79.95% of the total girls who appeared for the exams have cleared it, the results of the boys were recorded to be 79.79%,” he said.In total 10, 58,018 students appeared for the examination, of which 5,97, 554 were boys and 4,60,464 girls. In 2017, the result of secondary board was 78.96% and this year it increased nearly by one percent.Devnani claimed that the result of secondary board exam is improving because of qualitative education in government schools. “Results of government schools seem to be better than that of private schools,” he said.This is the second year when board has not released the merit list of first ten students because of cut-throat competition in schools and among students.
