Ropeways in Allahabad to boost tourism

ALLAHABAD: In a move which could boost the city's tourism potential ahead of the Kumbh-2019, the district administration has plans to introduce ropeways at three locations in Allahabad The tourism department has submitted a proposal to the tune of Rs 93 crore to construct three ropeway stations at Triveni Pushp, Ulta Quila and Someshwar Mahadev temple.Regional tourism officer Anupam Srivastava , said, "A 2.1km long ropeway would come up at the Sangam and connect the Mahadev Someshwar temple , Ulta Quila and Triveni Pushp."
