They tried and failed and yet again tried! Until the 7th of January this year that they successfully managed to open a 7000-sq feet exclusive Italian, Indian Marble, granite and Onyx retail showroom in, the heart of the city, Civil Lines. Meet Harsh Chaurasiya and Aashish Mehrotra, the two friends and business partners, who managed to survive the ocean full of sharks in the marble industry to successfully become two of the youngest entrepreneurs in Allahabad.
Their lavishly-done showroom is located near Lok Seva Ayog Gate number two on Sapru Marg, where they have employed team of professionals along with a well-equipped office premise.
27-year-old Aashish was a student of law from Amity University Noida and Harsh is a graduate from the University of Allahabad. Harsh has a business family-background, however Aashish comes from family of different professions.

The showroom is one of its kind and has taken a ton of efforts and failures to look like what it does today. In an exclusive conversation with NYOOOZ Allahabad, Harsh said, “I started working with one of my elder brothers’ in Lucknow to learn the business of Marbles and stones. During which, I learnt the purchasing and mining of marbles from mines”.
Aashish on the other hand has an expertise in the retail business and handles the showroom business with a zing. In a uniform tone, both of them said that it has taken more than five years and several ups and downs to reach where they stand today.
“There were times when we felt like giving up, but something kept us holding strong, be it family or the zeal to become successful, we didn’t give up”, told Harsh and Aashish.
They were working together day and night to understand the business of marbles and granite, when they got their first break in the city and after several deals in vain they made their first profit after two years of struggle.
Today, Saptrishi Stonex pvt Limited, though stands ahead of several other established business, Harsh and Aashish remain their empathetic selves.
Stating the reason behind this interesting name, ‘Saptrishi stonex’, Harsh said that he is a followers of constellations and hence this name.

The showroom has a number of beautiful marbles both Italian and Indian along with high-quality Granite and Onyx.
