5 injured as youths clash, four detained

The fight aggravated to an ugly brawl as others joined them.The members of the two communities clashed and attacked each other with bricks, sticks and stones. The clash left five people injured.On being alerted, police rushed to the spot and detained four persons.After getting to know about the clash between the two communities, members of a Hindu frontal organisation rushed to the spot and demanded that the police take stringent action against those who disturbed the peace in the area. When the organisers noticed that they were likely to run short of food, they asked some youths to bring food items from a shop near Nagripur Crossing.Police said that when the group visited a grocery shop, one of them had an altercation with a youth of another community.
