Allahabad University presents progress report on Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana

From AU’s side, Prof Dikshit along with his team consisting of Kumar Pankaj Pandey, Rajesh Kumar, Shashi Kant Shukla, Saurabh Tiwari, Surendra Pratap Singh was present. The objective of training the youth in the rural sector was also achieved up to some extent along with the philosophy of “earn while you learn. "The coordinator also informed the Additional secretary Sanjeev Kumar (IAS) that sampling frame of survey and photography, videography will be submitted by October 25 to the ministry, New Delhi. He also presented the newly established Centre of Science and Society under which this project is running.Apart from additional secretary, the report was presented to director Roop Avatar Kaur and Assistant director Chachat Singh. ALLAHABAD: The officials at ministry of rural development, New Delhi were updated about the post project evaluation study of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) zone-09, through video conferencing on the campus of Allahabad University , on Monday.Four months back, Centre of Science & Society (rural technology) of AU was given the task for surveying 104 Gram Panchayat (of Zone-09) of the state and study the progress of work undertaken under the ambitious Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) of the present central government.

ALLAHABAD: The officials at ministry of rural development, New Delhi were updated about the post project evaluation study of Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) zone-09, through video conferencing on the campus of Allahabad University , on Monday.Four months back, Centre of Science & Society (rural technology) of AU was given the task for surveying 104 Gram Panchayat (of Zone-09) of the state and study the progress of work undertaken under the ambitious Saansad Adarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) of the present central government. The work is being led by the coordinator of the center, Prof Anupam Dikshit, who is also the director, faculty recruitment cell of AU.While presenting the progress report through video conferencing, Prof Dikshit shared the strong as well as weak points related with the assignment and praised his team for performing well in the field work.
