ALLAHABAD: Continuing with their a decades-old legacy, the organisers of 'Bhoole Bhatke Shivir' are all set to serve visitors to the Kumbh-2019 with its huge team of volunteers.The volunteers of the camp have been reuniting people who have been separated from their families every Magh Mela, Ardh Kumbh and Maha Kumbh, ever since the Raja Ram Tiwari started the camp in 1946.When Tiwari died in August, 2016 at the age of 88, his son Umesh took over the organisation. The 'Bhole Bhatke Shivir' has been set up sector number 4 of the Mela ground. "Our volunteers hail from cities like Sultanpur, Pratapgarh, Jaunpur, Delhi, Allahabad, Kanpur and Lucknow. We have already reunited over a dozen missing people with their families over the last few days," said Umesh Tiwari."Another group of 100 volunteers from states like Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chattishgarh and Haryana would be joining us on January 20," he added.Umesh said that the last three generation of his family had been setting up the camp. The volunteers would also be distributing blankets and serving meals visitors who could not be reunited with their families.
