Kinnar Akhara head writes to CM

Allahabad: Acharya mahamandleshwar of Kinnar Akhara Laxmi Narayan Tripathi has written a letter to state chief minister Yogi Adityanath seeking Rs five crore for the expansion and construction of ashram for Kinnar Akhara in Allahabad.Camping at sector 2 on Mela campus, Tripathi said “Kinnar akhara has drafted its expansion plan and sought state government’s assistance in the same regard.” She further added: “state government had earlier sanctioned enough funds to other akharas before Kumbh and we would be able to serve people of all communities if state government supports our demand and proposal.She also claimed that following the formation of Kinnar Akhara, the Kinnar community is returning back to the mainstream of the society this Kumbh.
