Over 1.6L students to appear for HSC exam

Aurangabad: A total of 1,64,877 candidates from Aurangabad division of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will appear for the Higher Secondary Certificate exam scheduled to start from Wednesday.The examination will be conducted across 374 centres in Aurangabad, Jalna, Beed, Parbhani and Hingoli districts, which fall under the jurisdiction of Aurangabad division of the state board.Authorities said special ''sitting'' squads will be in place in addition to flying squads at some of the sensitive centres to check malpractices.
