50 aspiring entrepreneurs benefit from special workshop

"The aim of the workshop was to inculcate entrepreneurial skills in engineering students. Resource persons from various sectors addressed participants during different sessions of the workshop," MCED authorities said.Addressing students, MIT director Munish Sharma emphasized on the need for ethic-based entrepreneurship. "Ethics must be integral part of any business including entrepreneurship to ensure long-term success and sustainability. AURANGABAD: Over 50 students benefited from a special entrepreneurship awareness programme held in the city recently.The 3-day event was jointly organised by the state-run Maharashtra Centre for Entrepreneurship Development ( MCED ) and mechanical engineering department of the Maharashtra Institute of Technology MIT ). Every budding engineer who aspires to be an entrepreneur must instil in mind that only value-driven business can survive all odds coming in its way," he said.Having its centres at different places across the state, MCED has been shouldered with the responsibility promoting self-development and entrepreneurship skills.
