Aurangabad: A 34-year old man was stabbed to death in the Harsul area on Sunday evening following a spat over a trivial issue on a WhatsApp group.The man, who sustained multiple stab wounds, was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, leading to serious tension in the area under the limits of the Harsul police station.The deceased, identified as Moin Pathan, was in to real-estate apart from being affiliated to a political party. Recently, he was also at loggerheads with members of the Patel clan over a piece of land and the putting up of banners in the area.The preliminary investigation has revealed that Moin got in to a spat on a WhatsApp group with members of the Patel clan over the registration of voter ID cards during the first half of the day on Sunday and it resulted in a heated argument with some of the local youths who were members of the WhatsApp group.
