Aurangabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) has arranged special trains for the temple town of Tirupati from Aurangabad in order to clear the extra rush of devotees, an official release said on Wednesday.Accordingly, Aurangabad-Kollam winter special train (No. 07505) will depart from Aurangabad at 11am on December 7 and arrive at Kollam on the next day at 4.45am. The train will stop at Jalna, Selu, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar and Tirupati among other stations. It will consist of II-AC, III-AC, AC-Chair car, Sleeper Class and General Second Class.Tirupati-Aurangabad winter special train is another train that has been pressed into service by the SCR for devotees. The train (No. 07410) will leave from Tirupati at 11 am on December 11 and expected to reach at Aurangabad by 10.30 am on the next day. Enroute, the special train will also stop at Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani and Jalna stations.It will have II-AC, III-AC, AC-Chair car, Sleeper Class and General Second Class. The SCR authorities have appealed to the passengers to take note of the winter special train for Tirupati and reserve tickets through designated platforms.Trains cancelledMeanwhile, the SCR has communicated cancellation of a few passenger trains due to mega traffic block between Ahmednagar-Kopargaon section of the Central Railway. As per official release, Pandharpur-Nizamabad passenger train (No. 51434) will not be pressed into service on Thursday.The Pune-Nizamabad passenger train (No. 51421) that was scheduled to depart from Pune on November 27 also stands cancelled along with Nizamabad-Pune passenger train (No. 51422) that will not ply on Thursday and on November 26.
