Cops launch separate hunts for two missing minors

The police have registered an offence under Section 363 (kidnapping) in both the cases and have launched a hunt for the missing minors. The woman said in her complaint that her daughter, a minor, had told her that she wanted to visit one of her aunts. However, she soon realized that her daughter was missing. When the minor did not return home after waiting for her for a long time, her mother approached the Satara police and lodged a complaint. She searched for her daughter along with her neighbours and relatives, but to no avail.

Aurangabad: The Aurangabad city police have launched a manhunt for the two minor girls who have been reported missing from their respective homes since Tuesday.The Cantonment police said that the mother (40) of a minor girl had lodged a complaint with them on Tuesday evening stating that her daughter had gone missing since the afternoon of February 18. She looked around for her daughter, enlisting the help of relatives and friends in searching for her daughter and also waited for some time for her to come back home on her own. When she did not turn up even after waiting for a long time, the mother approached the police on Tuesday.In another case of a missing minor, the Satara police have booked an unidentified person on Tuesday for allegedly kidnapping a minor, following a complaint being registered by her mother (33). The woman said in her complaint that her daughter, a minor, had told her that she wanted to visit one of her aunts. However, the mother asked her to stay home and help her out in attending to the household chores.She subsequently got busy with various household work. However, she soon realized that her daughter was missing. She searched for her daughter along with her neighbours and relatives, but to no avail. When the minor did not return home after waiting for her for a long time, her mother approached the Satara police and lodged a complaint. She suspected that someone might have abducted her for unknown reasons. The police have registered an offence under Section 363 (kidnapping) in both the cases and have launched a hunt for the missing minors.
