The boy's father, after being produced before the court on Saturday, has been remanded to judicial custody.As per the complaint lodged by the minor, the suspect was following her for quite a while and insisted that she become his friend. In addition to this, the police have also slapped the suspects with sections of IPC including 354 (using criminal force to outrage modesty of the woman), 354 D (stalking), 354 A (sexual harassment), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 324 (causing hurt by dangerous means), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).The minor boy, after being detained was produced before the Woman and Child welfare committee, has been sent to juvenile home. It was only after she refused to pay any heed to his advances, the minor accused on Friday waylaid her and tried to get physical with her.Perturbed by the incident, she rushed home and narrated about it to her parents, following which they informed about the incident to his parents, who instead of talking to their son, assaulted them using a wooden log.The incident left the minor girl's father with a serious head injury.Cantontment police inspector Indalsingh Bahure , said, "The minor and his father were rounded up soon after registration of the offence.
