Complainant retracts his statement second time

"Sattar also stated that he was under moral pressure from the local residents to withdraw the complaint. Since he found that, after the registration of the case it is not possible to withdraw the case, he filed the affidavit.After the latest statement from Sattar, senior police officers were discussing the legalities involved in taking on record all the three versions of the complainant. The elderly people also promised to compensate for the losses I have incurred. They asked me not to proceed with the complaint.

done...Slug: bike torchingAurangabad: In yet another turn to the Begumpura bike torching case, the complainant on Monday gave a written statement contradicting the affidavit he filed in the court.Mohammed Sattar (40), whose bikes were torched at Bismillah Colony in the early hours of August 11, had lodged a complaint with the police. Within an hour, the Begumpura police nabbed Mohammed Umar Farooq (19), of the same locality, and claimed to have solved the case.Sattar, however, filed an affidavit in the court, claiming that police have cooked up a story and rounded up the youth, who is not even distantly connected to the incident. He even denied the allegations he made in the FIR against Farooq.Soon after TOI reported the incident on Sunday, commissioner of police Yashasvi Yadav ordered an inquiry into the matter by assistant commissioner of police (special branch) Govardhan Kolekar.When Kolekar summoned Sattar for recording his statement, he again changed his stand.
