Covid warriors, survivors invited for Independence Day celebration

Seating arrangements will be made for 500 people, including elected representatives, party leaders, government officials, and other dignitaries at the venue.

Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa will hoist the national flag at the Manekhsaw Parade grounds in Bengaluru on August 15 as part of the state`s Independence Day celebrations.

"As many as 75 Covid warriors working in the frontline to combat the pandemic and 25 people who have recovered from the infection will be special invitees to the event," Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said.
