Minister BA Basavaraja tests positive for COVID-19

The minister says, “I got tested positive for coronavirus today, but I don’t have any health problems.”

The Urban Development Minister of the state of Karnataka, BA Basavaraja tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday.

BA Basavaraja said, “I got tested positive for coronavirus today, but I don’t have any health problems.”. He further added, “As per medical advice, I got admitted to Columbia Asia Hospital for treatment”. Finally saying, “with all your wishes and blessings.”

While saying all this, his voice had the confidence. He was expecting to recover soon.

It is being doubted that Basavaraja caught the disease on September 12, when he visited the Harihara Panchamsali Mutt in Davangere. During his trip, he was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Govind Karjol, CN Ashwath Narayan, and Davangere Member of Parliament Siddeshwar. Basavaraja’s objective of visiting the place was to meet Vachananda Swami (commonly known as Shwaasa Guru).

Basavaraja belongs and represents the KR Puram assembly constituency in the city Bengaluru.
