Kannada actor Diganth Manchale has been summoned once again by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) of Bengaluru for further questioning in connection with the Sandalwood drug nexus.

Sandeep Patil, Joint Commissioner of Police(Crime) said, “We have called only Diganth, on basis of his statement given in previous hearing, certain field level enquiry was done and few people were enquired, now he is called again for further enquiry in the case.”

Diganth was summoned to appear before the CCB police on Wednesday morning and he appeared so. Following which on September 26, Diganth and his wife Aindrita Ray were questioned for hours and their mobile phones were confiscated by the CCB police for further investigation.

Diganth made his acting debut in a Kannada movie ‘Miss California’ in 2006 and acted in movies such as Gaalipata, Pancharangi, Lifeu Ishtene and Parijatha. Aindrita made her acting debut in 2007, starring in Meravanige. The couple got married in December 2018 after 10 years of courtship.
