South Western Railways receives ISO certificate for 5 railway stations

M/s Quest Certification, Chennai, have awarded Certificates to these Stations after due processes and documentation with regard to provision of Services for Train Operation, Signal and Telecommunication, Station Maintenance, Passenger Ticket Booking, Provision of Public Utilities and other Amenities and Handling of Parcels.

South Western Railways (SWR) on Wednesday received ISO 14001:2015 certificates for Kuppam, Channapatna, Mandya, Hindupur and Malur Railway Stations

Ashok Kumar Verma, Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru, received ISO 14001:2015 certificates in Divisional Railway Manager’s Office, Bengaluru.

M/s Quest Certification, Chennai, have awarded Certificates to these Stations after due processes and documentation with regard to provision of Services for Train Operation, Signal and Telecommunication, Station Maintenance, Passenger Ticket Booking, Provision of Public Utilities and other Amenities and Handling of Parcels.

“With this, all the 17 Railway Stations of Bengaluru Division in the category NSG1 to NSG4 have got ISO 14001:2015 certificate. There are 132 Stations in Bengaluru Division of South Western Railway. This will help South Western Railway to get better grade in the next round of QCI (Quality Council of India) ranking which will be given to Railway Stations for cleanliness standards,” SWR said in a statement.
