Farmers' protest enters Bengaluru

Farmers` agitation was seen across Bengaluru on Republic Day. Thousands of farmers from various parts of Karnataka reached Bengaluru by tractors and other vehicles as part of the ‘Jana Ganarajyotsava Parade’.

Farmers` agitation was seen across Bengaluru on Republic Day. Thousands of farmers from various parts of Karnataka reached Bengaluru by tractors and other vehicles as part of the ‘Jana Ganarajyotsava Parade’.

The farmers are now driving the tractor rally towards Freedom Park in Central Bengaluru. The tractor rally entered into the city from Mysuru road, Tumkur road, and Devanahalli into the city by afternoon.

The farmers, led by Karnataka Rajya Raitha Sangha, Samyukta Horata, an umbrella organisation of farmers and trade unions and Communist parties will converge at Freedom Park.

The rally is being held in solidarity with the farmers protesting against the farm laws in New Delhi.
