Cyber Crime busts loan fraud gang

The victim Kewarsen Nehra of 7th Battalion SAF Bhopal was duped of Rs 1.81 lakh as he applied for Rs 15 lakh loan. Based on Nehra's complaint case was registered and Suresh Rajput of Sheopur, Brijpal Rajput of Sheopur, Brijesh Kumar Rajput of Sheopur, Pankaj Kushwaha of Gajipur, Sanju Rajput and Prince Kumar Singh of Bihar were nabbed. The accused are involved in agriculture work, labour work and started to dupe victims in the name of facilitating loans.

Cyber crime branch Bhopal have busted a six member gang involved in duping victims in the name of availing loan and recovered laptop, pen drive, 16 mobile phones, 8 registers (transaction details), 36 pocket diaries and some fake documents (pen cards, Aadhar cards) etc. from thier possession said Bhopal IG Upendra Jain while interacting with the media persons at police control room on Monday. After the victim would agree it was asked to pay good amount in the name of processing, insurance and documentation. The victim was asked to transfer money in fake bank account which was later transferred to bank account and finally it was withdrawn using ATM card. The victim Kewarsen Nehra of 7th Battalion SAF Bhopal was duped of Rs 1.81 lakh as he applied for Rs 15 lakh loan. Based on Nehra's complaint case was registered and Suresh Rajput of Sheopur, Brijpal Rajput of Sheopur, Brijesh Kumar Rajput of Sheopur, Pankaj Kushwaha of Gajipur, Sanju Rajput and Prince Kumar Singh of Bihar were nabbed. The accused are involved in agriculture work, labour work and started to dupe victims in the name of facilitating loans. The police registered a case under section 419, 420, 467, 471 and 120 B of the IPC. Meanwhile, Kamla Nagar police have arrested a fraudster who duped 93 youths in the name of facilitating training and jobs; every youth was cheated by taking Rs 1850. The nabbed accused identified as Rajnarayan Bhardwaj cheated several youths in different parts of the state. The victim Ajit Kumar Choudhary of Balaghat lodged complaint stating that accused offered training and job as he was involved in survey and other works of NGO projects in rural area and took Rs 1850 but the training and job never happened. Ajit shared the information and 93 people acquainted with him were also cheated. The accused had also cheated over 15 people in Sidhi. Police suspects more victims would report fraud after the arrest
