Burglary at Jyotiba Phule Nagar, valuables worth Rs 80K stolen

Grocery, household goods and cash were burgled from Jyotiba Phule Nagar, total loss was around Rs 80000; Habibganj police have started investigation. Police said that the victim Kashiram Dhakad found that lock of the door of his house was broken and valuables were found burgled. The burglars escaped with household goods,LPG cooking cylinder, utensils, wheat and Rs 20000 cash. The victim claimed that the loss in the burglary was Rs 80000. Police suspects that the burglars were aware regarding the whereabouts of the family and committed the burglary when the family was away.

Police said that the victim Kashiram Dhakad found that lock of the door of his house was broken and valuables were found burgled. A complaint was lodged with the Habibganj police stating in which he said that he had had gone for some work and was not present at the house in the night on Wednesday and when he returned house was found ransacked. After the preliminary investigation, the police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC. The burglars took wheat kept in the house claimed the victim. The burglars escaped with household goods,LPG cooking cylinder, utensils, wheat and Rs 20000 cash. The victim claimed that the loss in the burglary was Rs 80000. Police have detained few suspects who are habitual criminal and would be quizzed in the further investigation. Police suspects that the burglars were aware regarding the whereabouts of the family and committed the burglary when the family was away. The near deployed CCTV footage cameras would be checked. The almirah having the valuables was targeted while other things were not disturbed. During the investigation when the neigbhbors were questioned they expressed ignorance over the burglary and were not aware of any kind of sound of breaking the doors. Police suspect that some acquainted has tipped off or has committed the crime as the locals have not spotted any stranger in the area.
