Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that after setting a target for better implementation of any scheme, it is also necessary to monitor it in a better way and only after that the results can be achieved. This was stated in a webinar organized in connection with the efforts of Chief Minister Narendra Modi to create a `self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh` in the context of the goal of `Self-reliant India`. With the help of suggestions coming from the experts through webinars, a roadmap for creating a `self-sufficient Madhya Pradesh` is being prepared. In this sequence, the first webinar was held yesterday, whose basic theme was `Infrastructure`. Today, the theme of the second webinar is `Good Governance`.

Inaugurating the webinar on the second day, the Chief Minister said that plans are made and they are also implemented. But if they do not have a monitoring mechanism, then the expected results are not available. Sharing his experience, he said that therefore monitoring of implementation is necessary and only then we will be able to achieve our set targets.

The Chief Minister himself takes stock, he said that he used to go out to take stock of the implementation of schemes earlier, but it was not possible to physically go everywhere. So they developed a mechanism in which common people do the work of giving their feedback or lodging a complaint. Along with this, services of private people were started to be taken through Public Service Department for filing complaints, so that there was no wrong in filing complaints. And arrangements were also made to monitor the redressal of the complaint.

Government Committed The Chief Minister said the results of yesterday`s webinar were encouraging and said that his government is committed to make Madhya Pradesh self-reliant and will also work in this direction through good governance. In the webinar, NITI Aayog officials are connected to Delhi through video conferencing. Apart from this, state ministers, senior officials and subject matter experts are also participating in it through video conferencing.
