This decision was taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in a video conferencing meeting of the minister and officials. This month, 11 and 12 August is Janmashtami. This is followed by Independence Day on 15 August. 16 is Parsi New Year, 22 is Ganesh Chaturthi, 29 is Muharram and 31 is Onam. Earlier on 1 August, on Eid and 3, there was no public program on Rakshabandhan.
