This time due to Corona, 15 August Independence Day will be celebrated in Madhya Pradesh, but neither children`s rallies will be taken out nor any tableau will come out. This day of the country`s independence will be celebrated in a limited way this time without congestion. This decision was taken by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan in a video conferencing meeting of the minister and officials. He said that this program of respect of the country will be celebrated in a very limited manner keeping in view the health of the people and the dangers of corona infection.

There will be neither rallies nor tableaux, the biggest events of August 15 are held in schools and colleges after administration. During this time, big events are celebrated in every place, from children`s morning rallies to public. Due to the closure of schools till 31 August, this time there will be no programs in schools and colleges. In such a situation, the students of NCC and Scout Guides will also not be able to participate in the parade. This time at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, no tableaux will be presented by any department. In most departments, only 30% to 50% employees are working. So far, no preparations have been started on the Lal Parade ground.

From the tableaux of Ganesh idols to the procession of Muharram, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has said that in view of the transition of Corona in the state, the upcoming Ganesh Utsav, Moharram, Janmashtami etc. festivals will not be celebrated in public. Ganesha statues will not be able to be installed publicly. Processions and refreshments will not be taken out on Janmashtami and Moharram. Shivraj has requested people to celebrate these festivals at home. Apart from this, only 5 people can gather at the places of worship.

This month, 11 and 12 August is Janmashtami. This is followed by Independence Day on 15 August. 16 is Parsi New Year, 22 is Ganesh Chaturthi, 29 is Muharram and 31 is Onam. Earlier on 1 August, on Eid and 3, there was no public program on Rakshabandhan.
