Music marks first day of Rang Ashoka

The first day of "Rang Ashoka" was all about songs and music. Rang Ashok 2020 is being organised by Rangdoot, a theatre organisation in Sidhi district, on the second death anniversary of noted playwright Ashok Tiwari of Vindhya region. On the first day of the programme, Sushil Sharma from Delhi, Sadat Bharti from Katni, Dheeraj Singh Chauhan from Sidhi and Ajay Shrivastava Ajju from Bhopal participated. At the beginning of the programme, a documentary was shown above Ashok Tiwari. At the end of the program, Dheeraj Singh moistened everyone's eyes by singing the famous Kabir bhajan "Zara Mata Gaon Hanko More Ram Gaadi Wale".

In view of Covid 19, the event is being conducted through Facebook Live. On the first day of the programme, Sushil Sharma from Delhi, Sadat Bharti from Katni, Dheeraj Singh Chauhan from Sidhi and Ajay Shrivastava Ajju from Bhopal participated. In this program, Shailendra Dwivedi played the role of Moderator from Rewa. At the beginning of the programme, a documentary was shown above Ashok Tiwari. After this, the song was presented by Dheeraj Singh Chauhan welcoming the audience and guests. Guests spoke on the untouched aspects of Ashok Tiwari's life. Senior color worker Sadat Bharti said in his statement that Ashok was a very hard working and creative theatre artist. He created many capable theatre artists, prepared a long list of spectators. When no one knew anything about drama in Sidhi, at that time Ashok started theater in Sidhi. He developed a special audience of his own in the district, who has not forgotten Ashoka even today. After this Sadat Bharti read 6 short stories of eminent writer Saadat Hasan Manto for the audience. Senior Delhi-based painter, actor, director and musician Sushil Sharma shared many fun stories with the audience, recalling the moments he had with Ashok Tiwari. Remembering Ashok Tiwari, he sang the famous Chhattisgarhi song "Chola Mati Ke Hai Re". After this Sushilji presented one to one audience in a beautiful song. Moderator Shailendra Dwivedi himself is also a skilled actor and painter. Remembering Ashoka, his eyes became moist. At the end of the program, Dheeraj Singh moistened everyone's eyes by singing the famous Kabir bhajan "Zara Mata Gaon Hanko More Ram Gaadi Wale". About 2000 people watched the event live on Rangdoot's page. In the end, pleased Soni thanked all the guests and the audience.
