‘Rang Ashoka ‘20’ held on 2nd death anniversary of Ashok Tiwari

Rang Ashoka 2020 was organized by Rangdoot, a theater organization in Sidhi district, on the second death anniversary of noted playwright Ashok Tiwari. The fourth day of Rang Ashoka was in the name of Amir Khusro and Nazir Akbarabadi's kalams. Ashutosh ji, while paying tribute to Ashok Tiwari, gave life to the program by singing “Imprint Tilak Sab Snatchi” by Amir Khusro. Roshni Prasad has also been a disciple of Ashok Tiwari. This song was very much loved by Ashok Tiwari and was used in his play Barah Sau Chhabbis Bata Saat.

Amir Khusro and Nazir Akbarabadi's Kalam charmed everyone at online event of poetry and music Rang Ashoka. Rang Ashoka 2020 was organized by Rangdoot, a theater organization in Sidhi district, on the second death anniversary of noted playwright Ashok Tiwari. In view of Covid-19, the event was organised through Facebook Live. The fourth day of Rang Ashoka was in the name of Amir Khusro and Nazir Akbarabadi's kalams. Eminent singer and painter Ashutosh Mishra associated with Bihar colored the magic of his voice. Ashutosh is originally from Siwan (Bihar). He has worked as an actor in the National Theater School Rangamandal. Ashutosh is famous in the art world for his singing. Self Ashok Tiwari was also interested in Ashutosh's singing. Ashutosh ji, while paying tribute to Ashok Tiwari, gave life to the program by singing “Imprint Tilak Sab Snatchi” by Amir Khusro. He then sang Nazir Akbarabadi's famous song “Rotiyan”. Later, Bhopal-based painter Vishal Acharya gave his views on Ashok Tiwari's work and personality and dedicated it to him, reading the story “Departure of Hatia Express” written by young writer Durgesh Singh. Famous young artist Roshni Prasad Mishra was also present in the programme. Roshni Prasad has also been a disciple of Ashok Tiwari. Roshni shared Ashok Tiwari's contribution to the audience with the beginning and development of his acting journey. Also, Jeevan Yadu ji sang the song “Jab tak roti ke prashno par rakha rahega bhari patthar”. This song was very much loved by Ashok Tiwari and was used in his play Barah Sau Chhabbis Bata Saat. Young actor and poet Vipul Singh Gaharwar associated with Rewa gave his views on the presence of poems and their color poetry in the theater of Ashok Tiwari. Also dedicated to him, he also read an effective poem written by him. Young color worker Dheeraj Soni handled the program well as a moderator. More than 600 viewers watched the event on Rangdoot's Facebook page. Finally, Prasanna Soni thanked all the guests and the audience while reciting the poem written by Dr. Abhishek Tripathi.
