The CII Madhya Pradesh Skill Summit 2020 was organised online. The webinar was held under the initiative of a State level panel on higher education and skill development of CII and in collaboration with AISECT, IES University and Sitech. In this online summit, various officials of State government discussed the unique initiative taken by the Government in this difficult time due to Covid. Also told about the work being done in skill development and future needs. Many speakers were also associated with the industry at the skill summit and made them aware of the needs of the industry and the technological changes over time. Key speakers at the Skill Summit include Caroline Khangwar, Principal Secretary, Skill Development Department of Madhya Pradesh, P Narhari, Commissioner of Technical Education Department, Sunita Sanghi, Senior Advisor, Skill Development Ministry, Government of India, Digital Skill and Innovation, National Skill Development Council Head Venkatesh Sarvasiddhi, Healthcare Sector Skill Council CEO Ashish Jain, Cummins India Vice President Anjali Pandey, PSSCIVE Joint Director Rajesh Khambayat, Hindalco GM Mayook Dasgupta, Santac Technologies Managing Director Ambareesh Kela, UNDP Program Advisor Harish Singh Oshin Chavan, founder and CEO of Infispark, was among the keynote speakers. Apart from this, Siddharth Chaturvedi, chairman of CII Bhopal zone and convener of the panel on higher education of CII and co-convener of the panel on higher education of CII, was present. Among the keynote speakers, Anurag Shrivastava spoke on industry problems and said that the industry is grappling with Corona's impact and lack of workflow. In such a situation, the demand for online courses run by various institutions is increasing which is helpful in increasing the skills.
