Yono SBI – NLIU Corporate Law Moot, 2021 started off with a positive note on the virtual platform on Friday. The event was organised in collaboration with Yono SBI as the official name partner along with Taxmann as the official research partner and The Indian Insolvency and Bankruptcy Law Post (TIIBLP) as the official knowledge partner. The Inaugural Ceremony took place on Friday. The three-day event beginning from Friday will be witnessed by the 24 teams from all across the country, including NLSIU, NALSAR, WBNUJS NLUJ and SLS. The Organizers strive to make this edition of the competition a memorable and excellent learning experience for all the participating teams through virtual platform. The Inaugural Ceremony began with the welcome speech by the Faculty in Charge of Moot Court Association Dr. Sanjay Yadav. All the dignitaries, faculty, participants and students were welcomed by him. He stated that in every competition one team wins and other losses but what actually matters is the things that one learns from the competition. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Mahak Saxena. Raghav Singh, Deputy Manager (Law), State Bank of India (Guest of Honour) said that these events brings out the best from someone. Competitions like this provides immense opportunities to the participants. Just remember one thing – the competition will provide two results, one is immediate i.e. who is the winner and another is a long term effect that we will experience later in our lives.
