Full dress rehearsal of R-Day held in Bhopal

The final rehearsal of the joint parade to mark the Republic Day celebrations was held on Sunday at the Lal Parade ground. Head Constable Ramachandra Singh Kushwaha of the 7th Battalion, played the chief guest in the form of each and took the salute of the joint parade. A keynote message was also read to symbolize the chief guest. After the celebration fire, a joint parade was held and melodious police band performed. The joint parade consisted of 11 parties including the equestrian and dog squad.

The final full dress rehearsal was held to celebrate 71st anniversary of the glorious republic in Madhya Pradesh with great enthusiasm, pomp and dignity and with following all the protocols of prevention of Covid-19 infection. The main ceremony will be held at Lal Parade Ground on January 26 from 9 am. The final rehearsal of the joint parade to mark the Republic Day celebrations was held on Sunday at the Lal Parade ground. Director General of Police Vivek Johri reviewed the arrangements for the parade and ceremony. Head Constable Ramachandra Singh Kushwaha of the 7th Battalion, played the chief guest in the form of each and took the salute of the joint parade. After this, the Chief Guest rode in an open jeep and inspected the parade. Jan Gana Mana was played and celebration fire were made. A keynote message was also read to symbolize the chief guest. After the celebration fire, a joint parade was held and melodious police band performed. The parade was led by Shrutikiti Somvanshi, officer of the year 2018 batch of Indian Police Service and SDOP Sihora, District Jabalpur. The parade 2 IC was carried out by assistant commandant 6th Battlioan Jabalpur Yash Bijoria. The joint parade consisted of 11 parties including the equestrian and dog squad. Director General of Police Vivek Johri along with ACS GAD Divisional Commissioner Kavindra Kiyawat, Vinod Kumar, Additional Director General of Police SAF Milind Kanaskar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Bhopal City Irshad Wali and district Collector Avinash Lavania, among other senior officers were present during the full dress rehearsal.
