299 Covid Care Centres in 52 dists started: CM

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that 299 Covid Care Centres have been started in 52 districts of the state for corona patients with mild symptoms. Covid Care Centres currently has a total of 19,796 beds. The minister in charge of the district, along with the officer-in-charge, regularly inspects the Covid Care Centres by the officers of the district administration and reviews the arrangements. Corona Volunteers is also playing an active role at Covid Care Centres. Medical kits and health brochures are being provided to 100 percent of the patients residing in urban and rural areas in all Covid Care Centres and Institutional Quarantine Centres.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that 299 Covid Care Centres have been started in 52 districts of the state for corona patients with mild symptoms. Patients with mild symptoms are being treated free of cost at these centres. Covid Care Centres currently has a total of 19,796 beds. Out of these, 2208 oxygen beds have been installed. The number of beds in the centres is continuously increasing. Feedback (surveys) are also being taken for qualitative improvement in the districts' established care centres and provide better health facilities to the patients. In this, the utilization of beds, medical, medicines, food facilities, etc. is also being assessed. According to the feedback from the districts' Covid Care Centre, it was found better in Harda, Indore, Katni, Agar-Malwa for providing medical facilities and better in providing food facility in Hoshangabad, Indore, Rajgarh, Seoni, and Dindori. The minister in charge of the district, along with the officer-in-charge, regularly inspects the Covid Care Centres by the officers of the district administration and reviews the arrangements. Corona Volunteers is also playing an active role at Covid Care Centres. All-round efforts are underway to prevent corona infection in rural areas of the state. Public awareness is being raised by women of women self-help groups along with Corona Volunteers. So far, 22,404 institutional quarantine centres have been set up in rural areas by the Rural Development Department in collaboration with the Gram Panchayats. More than 2 lakh 69 thousand 309 beds have been installed at these centres. Under the Kill Corona campaign in rural areas, the availability of essential medicines is being ensured along with conducting various activities for awareness. Medical kits and health brochures are being provided to 100 percent of the patients residing in urban and rural areas in all Covid Care Centres and Institutional Quarantine Centres.
