In the capital Bhopal, the days of the roads are about to turn. The repair work of city roads will be started from October 1. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh gave these instructions during the review of the roads of Bhopal city. He said that repair work should be done as per the prescribed norms and there should be no compromise on the quality of work.

Minister Bhupendra Singh said that according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the remaining days of the month of September. Therefore, immediately after that start the work from October 1 and complete it within the time limit.

He said that the repair work of the roads which are in the guarantee period should also be done by the concerned contractor from October 1. At the same time, Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bhopal KVS. Chaudhary said that an action plan has been prepared for the repair of 288 different roads of the city. It is estimated to cost Rs 70 crore 60 lakh.

Urban Development and Housing Minister said that regularization of unauthorized colonies should be done as per the prescribed action plan. He said that it should be kept in mind that now illegal colonies should not be formed in the city. Bhupendra Singh also directed for action regarding compounding.

On the other hand, the Municipal Corporation Commissioner informed that AIR is being done against those who build illegal colonies. Principal Secretary Urban Development and Housing Manish Singh, CEO Smart City Ankit Asthana along with officers of Municipal Corporation and CPA were present in the meeting.
