MP logs 43 new COVID-19 cases, 1 death; active tally at 381

Bhopal, Jun 14 (PTI) The COVID-19 tally in Madhya Pradesh rose to 10,43,221 on Tuesday after the detection of 43 new cases, while one more patient succumbed to the infection in the state, a health department official said.The COVID-19 death toll increased by one to reach 10,739. The positivity rate, or cases detected per 100 tests, in MP stood at 0.9 per cent, the official said.The recovery count increased by 25 to touch 10,32,101, leaving the state with 381 active cases, the official informed.With 4,615 swab samples examined during the day, the number of tests in the state went up to 2,93,95,995, he added.Meanwhile, a government release said 11,96,70,949 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the state, including 30,236 on Tuesday.Coronavirus figures in MP are as follows: Total cases 10,43,221, new cases 43, death toll 10,739, recoveries 10,32,101, active cases 381, total tests 2,93,95,995.
