MP records 312 new COVID-19 cases, zero death; active tally at 1,434

Bhopal, Jul 21 (PTI) The COVID-19 tally in Madhya Pradesh rose to 10,47,577 on Thursday after the detection of 312 new cases, while no fresh death linked to the infection was reported in the state, a health department official said.The death toll remained unchanged 10,746, while the positivity rate, or cases detected per 100 tests, stood at 2.8 per cent, he said.The recovery count increased by 161 to touch 10,35,397, leaving the state with 1,434 active cases, the official informed.With 7,669 swab samples examined during the day, the number of total tests in MP went up to 2,96,47,053, he added.A government release said 12,18,06,777 COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far in the state, including 1,95,061 on Thursday.Coronavirus figures in MP are as follows: Total cases 10,47,577, new cases 312, death toll 10,746, recoveries 10,35,397, active cases 1,434, total tests 2,96,47,053.
