In the past five months three prisoners have fled away from Bhopals Hamidia Hospital all of them were serving prison in serious offences the negligence of the jail staff has come to light in their escape and at the same time top officers also suspect the collusion of police personnel. After the negligence taking cognizance Deputy Commissioner of Police Zone-3 Riyaz Iqbal is writing a letter to the Jail DG. In which strict action will be taken after investigating the collusion of employees. The police are also investigating the escape of the three prisoners at their own level. However, two of the absconding prisoners have been arrested and sent back to jail. The search for the third continues. The latest case is of February 27 2024. Police have not been able to locate prisoner Ghanshyam Ajay Gaur, who escaped from Bhopals Hamidia Hospital. The negligence of the police personnel has come to light in this case. He took the prisoner to Hamidia. Leaving him alone there, he went to drink tea. Taking advantage of this the prisoner escaped. According to Kohefiza police, Ghanshyam Ajay, arrested in the attempted murder case, was transferred from Silvani jail to Bhopal for the treatment of hernia. Ghanshyam Ajay was brought to Bhopal jail for hernia treatment. Earlier 2 months ago, on December 29, 2023, Bhopal Central Jail prisoner Nadeem Khan alias Fire Brigade escaped. He was also taken to Hamidia Hospital for treatment. He has been sentenced to 7 years in prison for attempted murder. There are 16 cases registered against him. When he was arrested, he told during interrogation that he had escaped by dodging the jail guard to meet his girlfriend. On October 14, 2023, prisoner Rajat Saini had escaped from Hamidia Hospital after opening his handcuffs. He had murdered his friend and burnt the body in Khajuri area. The absconding prisoner Rajat Saini was arrested by the police from the forests of Budhni. He brutally murdered an innocent youth Aman Dangi in Khajuri Road police station area in the year 2022 after absconding from Gwalior jail after getting parole. Rajat has been sentenced to death in the murder case.
