All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhopal witnessed a jubilant gathering at its premises for the Holi Milan Samaroh on Thursday. The event was attended by distinguished guests including Prof Dr Ajai Singh, Executive Director of AIIMS Bhopal, faculty members, officers, students, residents, and other staff members. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Dr. Ajai Singh said that as we gather today to celebrate the joyous festival of Holi, I am filled with immense happiness and gratitude to witness the vibrant spirit of camaraderie and cultural diversity that permeates our AIIMS Bhopal community.  Holi is not merely a festival of colors; it is a celebration of unity, harmony, and the triumph of good over evil. It brings together people from all walks of life, transcending barriers of age, gender, and status, to revel in the simple joys of life and forge lasting bonds of friendship. At AIIMS Bhopal, we are not just a community of healthcare professionals; we are a family bound by a shared commitment to excellence, compassion, and service. Today, as we come together to mark this auspicious occasion, let us reaffirm our dedication to these values and rededicate ourselves to the noble cause of healing and caring for others. Highlighting the cultural richness of the occasion, a vibrant cultural program was organized, showcasing the diverse talents within the AIIMS Bhopal community. The event featured mesmerizing performances that captivated the audience and added an extra layer of festivity to the atmosphere.   One of the notable highlights of the evening was the enchanting rendition of "Faag Gayan," a traditional folk singing style synonymous with the festival of Holi. The melodious tunes reverberated through the air, further enhancing the festive fervor and spreading joy among all attendees.        In a departure from conventional celebrations involving synthetic colors, the participants opted for a more eco-friendly approach by playing Holi with flowers. This environmentally conscious gesture not only added a colorful spectacle to the event but also underscored the importance of sustainability and respect for nature.
