Peaceful voting in all booths of six parliamentary constituencies

Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan has said that in the first phase of Madhya Pradesh Lok Sabha Elections-2024, voting held from 7 am to 6 pm in the polling centers of six Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies of the state. Voting was conducted only from 7 am to 4 pm at all the polling stations of 3 assembly constituencies of Balaghat district – Baihar, Lanji, and Parswada. Rajan said that, 63.25 percent voting was recorded in all the six Lok Sabha parliamentary constituencies till 5 pm. He told that 51.24 percent voter turnout was recorded in Lok Sabha constituency no. 11 Sidhi, 59.91 percent in no. 12 Shahdol, 56.74 percent in no. 13 Jabalpur, 68.31 percent in no. 14 Mandla, 71.08 percent in no. 15 Balaghat and 73.85 percent voting in no. 16 Chhindwara. Rajan said that voting has remained peaceful throughout in all the polling stations so far. Rajan said that voting had started from 7 am in all the polling stations. Peaceful voting took place in all the polling stations. Before the start of voting, the process of mock poll was conducted at the polling stations.
