Fraudulantly transacted amount of Rs 70,000 returned

Pithampur police got a big success in solving a Cyber fraud case in which transacted amount of Rs 70,000 was returned. Besides, four lost smart phones worth Rs 60 thousand were recovered. Giving the above information, City Superintendent of Police (CSP) Amit Kumar Mishra said that  Superintendent of Police District Dhar Manoj Kumar Singh and  Additional Superintendent of Police Dr. Indrajit Bakalwar had asked to catch cyber criminals. In this context, on the complaint received through NCRB portal at Police Station Pithampur and Police Station Incharge Rajendra Soni started investigation. In the complaint, vistim Amit Prasad said that Rs 70,000 was transacted fraudulantly by using credit card. During investigation, by contacting the gateway concerned, the payment was put on hold and the said amount was returned to the complainants account. Besides, under the CEIR portal issued by the Department of Telecommunications, GoI, lost mobile complainant received through this medium, four smart phones worth Rs 60,000 were recovered and handed over to the complainant.
