A high level meeting was organized between the senior officials of State Bank of India and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited to make the public welfare schemes of Urja Vikas Nigam available to the beneficiaries through the bank. In this meeting, Chandrashekhar Sharma, Chief General Manager Bhopal Division and Jaissi Paul, Chief General Manager Corporate Center Mumbai along with other senior officials of the bank were present on behalf of State Bank of India and Manu Shrivastava, Additional Chief Secretary, MP Administration, Raghuram Rajendran, Energy Secretary and Amanveer Singh Bains, Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Limited along with other senior officials of the department were present on behalf of MP Urja Vikas Nigam.In this meeting, a proposed action plan was prepared for effective implementation of PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme and other ambitious schemes in the state. In which, as per the instructions of the Government of India, the bank agreed to provide loans to domestic beneficiaries in an easy manner at attractive interest rates. With the facility of easy loan from the bank, the implementation of PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme will become easy in all sections of the society and the share of renewable energy will increase in the state.
