Haj pilgrim dies

A 72-year-old Haj pilgrim who went on Haj pilgrimage died of heat wave in Mecca, with this, the number of deaths of Hajis from Madhya Pradesh in Mecca during Haj has increased to 2. This has been confirmed by the officers posted in the control room of the MP Haj Committee. According to the information received from the MP Haj Committee control room, 72-year-old Syed Mumtaz Hasan, who lived in Housing Board Colony Kohefiza, died in Mecca on June 14. He had left for Saudi from Mumbai on June 5. Official sources said, Syed Mumtaz Hasan died due to heat in Mecca. He was buried in Mecca itself. Apart from this, a woman Haji Rabia Begum, resident of Shahdol in Madhya Pradesh, also died due to heat during the Haj pilgrimage.
