Pithampur police got success, liquor smuggler caught with 16 boxes of desi plain liquor worth Rs 56000 in Maruti 800 car. Giving the above information, Pithampur CSP Amit Kumar Mishra said that Dhar SP Manoj Kumar Singh had instructed all the police station in-charges to take strict action to prevent illegal liquor transportation, in relation to which Pithampur police took action against illegal liquor smuggling. Pithampur police station received information from an informer that illegal liquor was being transported in a white Maruti 800 car number MP09-CN-2503. Thereafter when Maruti 800 car number MP09-CN-2503 was checked in front of Biospin Company Sector 3 Pithampur, a total of 16 cartons of Desi  plain liquor totaling 144 bulk liters worth Rs 56000 were found in it. On interrogation the accused told his name to be Somesh father Rajendra Jaiswal, age 24 years, resident of village Pipaldagadi, Police Station Dharampuri, District Dhar. On which crime number 326/2024 section 34 (2) of Excise Act was registered at Police Station Pithampur. Police Station Incharge Pithampur Rajendra Soni led the police team.
