Rains witnessed in 20 distrcts of MP

Rain, storm and thunderstorm continued in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday, rains were witnessed in 20 districts including Bhopal and Indore. More than 2 inches of water fell in Satna in 9 hours. More than one inch of rain was recorded in Sagar. Apart from this, rain also occurred in Dhar, Guna, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Khandwa, Pachmarhi of Narmadapuram district, Ratlam, Ujjain, Chhindwara, Damoh, Jabalpur, Mandla, Naugaon of Chhatarpur district, Seoni, Tikamgarh, Umaria and Malajkhand of Balaghat. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of heavy rain in 13 districts of MP. These include Guna, Ashoknagar, Agar, Rajgarh, Chhatarpur, Panna, Sagar, Damoh, Shahdol, Maihar, Katni, Mauganj and Sidhi. There may also be rain in Shivpuri, Neemuch. It rained in Jabalpur, Umaria, Bhind and Sagar on Thursday morning and afternoon. Heavy rain has been falling in Umaria since morning. Apart from this, light rain with thunderstorms will continue in other districts including Indore, Gwalior, Ujjain, Jabalpur. Senior meteorologist said that at present there is a strong system in MP due to cyclonic circulation and trough line. Due to this, the weather has changed in the entire state. At some places, it is raining heavily and at some places it is raining lightly. This system will remain active for the next few days. It was cloudy in Sagar since morning. Rain started at around 1.30 pm. The day temperature here is 30 degrees. After June, it is raining well in July as well. Bhopal and Sehore areas falling in the catchment area of Bada Talab have received 248.6 mm of rain so far. Due to this, the water required for 10 days for half the population of the city has been stored in Bada Talab in just 9 days (22 to 30 June). That is, it is half a feet full. Experts say that if such rain continues, then by the end of July, the full tank level of the pond can reach 1666.80 feet or around that. On 21 June, the level was 1658 feet. Now it has become 1658.50 feet. From June 22 to 30, the level of the pond increased four times in 9 days. For the first time, it increased by 0.10 feet. The same increase was there the second time as well.
