Crime branch Bhopal has arrested two ganja smugglers from Aero City Road Gandhi Nagar, 13.3 kg Cannabis worth Rs 2 lakh has been recovered from the possession of the accused. Both have admitted to bringing  cannabis  from Andhra Pradesh to Bhopal by road. Both used to sell the ganja brought from Andhra Pradesh to retailers at three times of the price. They reached Aero City Road waiting for customers and were caught by the police. Police have registered a case against both the accused under the NDPS Act. Additional DCP Crime Shelender Singh Chauhan said that on the basis of information received from the informer, two youths were surrounded in Gandhi Nagar under the Aero City Road bridge on Saturday night. Both were taken into custody and their bags were searched. In which packets of ganja kept in polythene were found. 13.300 kg ganja was found in about 14 packets. The accused have previous cases of crime registered against them The accused have been identified as Faiz Mohammad (21) resident of H.No. 17, Street No. 21, Arif Nagar, Gautam Nagar and Sanjana Thakur  (20) resident of village Jamni Tola, Tehsil Suhagpur, District Narmadapuram. Both the accused have previous cases of assault and other criminal cases registered against them. The accused told during interrogation that they had reached Bhopal from Andhra Pradesh by road by boarding different buses. They were going to bring ganja from there at low prices and sell it to retail smugglers in Bhopal at higher prices. To avoid getting caught, they called the customers to Aero City Road to make delivery in isolation. However, they were caught before that.
