Special drive in Bhopal to check dilapidated school buildings

After the death of 9 children due to wall collapse in Sagar,  Bhopal district administration also came into action. After the instructions of Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh, all SDMs went to the field on Tuesday and inspected buildings which are in dilapidated condition. In Berasia, 30 Anganwadi buildings were found which are dilapidated or rain water is leaking in them. SDM Deepak Pandey said that the children of these Anganwadis have been shifted to Panchayat or schools. After the repair of the building, the children will be able to come here again. On Monday, Collector Kaushlendra Vikram Singh had a meeting of officers regarding the dilapidated buildings. The floor of the school in Bishankhedi was found to be damaged TT Nagar SDM Archan Sharma said, the floor of a government school building in Bishankhedi was damaged. The engineer has been asked to repair it after making an estimate. He will go on Wednesday and get the floor repaired. He said, there are no Anganwadis and schools in his area in a dilapidated condition. Kolar SDM Ravishankar Rai said that a team has been formed to locate dilapidated buildings. They will investigate and submit a report.
