Rains stopped in maximum districts of Madhya Pradesh in past 2 days

In most districts of Madhya Pradesh, the rain has stopped for the last two days. All the big cities including Bhopal, Indore witnessed sunny weather conditions on Monday and increased humidity has made weather unpleasant. So far, the state has received more than 76% of the monsoon seasons 28.5 inches of rain. The Meteorological Departments senior scientist  told that there may be heavy rain in Chhindwara, Satna, Sidhi, Dhar and Barwani. A strong rain system will become active from Tuesday. Due to this, there will be heavy rain in the entire state on August 21 and 22. He said, The cyclonic circulation system is active in the Bay of Bengal as a low pressure area. It will move forward. The monsoon trough is merging with the cyclonic circulation from Bikaner to Sidhi. Other systems are also active. Due to this, the rainy season will return in Madhya Pradesh. On Sunday, 3 inches of rain fell in Sidhi, 2.5 inches in Umaria and more than half an inch in Malajkhand of Balaghat district. Light rain also occurred in Betul, Gwalior, Narmadapuram, Mandla, Rewa, Satna, Seoni. It rained on Sunday at many places in the state including Chhindwara-Gwalior, 3 inches of rainfall was recorded in Sidhi, 2.5 inches in Umaria and more than half an inch in Malajkhand of Balaghat district. There has been good rainfall in Jabalpur, Bhopal and Narmadapuram divisions of the state. Mandla and Seoni of Jabalpur division are such districts where maximum rain has been recorded. More than 42 inches of rain has fallen in Mandla and 41 inches in Seoni, 33 inches of rainfall has been recorded in Bhopal, which is up to 90 percent of the season. More than 30 inches of rain has been recorded in 20 districts of the state. Indore, Ujjain and Rewa divisions have received less rain. The heavy rains have stopped in the state for the last 2 days, but the inflow of water into dams and ponds continued on Sunday. Water has increased in Kolar, Bansagar, Kundalia, Bargi, Indira Sagar, Omkareshwar, Kaliyasot, Bhadbhada, Kerwa and other dams. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be heavy rain in the coming days. This will increase the water and the dam gates will open once again.
