In a shocking revelation, Pichhore police have arrested a 15-year-old boy for fatally shooting his father and attempting to disguise the crime as a suicide—an elaborate deception that was uncovered only after forensic examination of the postmortem report. The incident occurred on May 1 in Akbari Badi village, initially reported as a case of self-inflicted gunshot wounds amidst the hustle of local wedding festivities. However, the autopsy revealed three bullet injuries to the victims chest, dismantling the suicide claim and prompting a thorough investigation. During police questioning, the teenager admitted to acting in self-defense after enduring years of abuse from his alcoholic father, Pran Singh Baghel. The victims wife, Meena Baghel, stated that her intoxicated husband had assaulted both her and their son and had threatened to shoot the boy.
