PM visits exhibition on Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar

rime Minister Narendra Modi visited a special exhibition dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkar during the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Maha Sammelan, held to commemorate her 300th birth anniversary. The event, organized in Bhopal, was graced by the presence of Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The exhibition highlighted the transformative governance of Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar, showcasing her initiatives for womens self-reliance and her significant contributions to the development of religious sites. It also featured a collection of books and research papers focusing on her life and lasting legacy. Prime Minister Modi interacted with women involved in handloom and handicrafts, as well as Drone Didis—women trained in drone technology. He was briefed on various ongoing initiatives in Madhya Pradesh aimed at empowering women, including rural housing schemes, rural tourism, agriculture, and the increasing participation of women in local governance at both the rural and urban levels. In addition to meeting the women entrepreneurs, Prime Minister Modi reviewed exhibits that highlighted the states progress in infrastructure development, the rejuvenation of religious sites, and other innovation-driven initiatives contributing to the states growth and empowerment of women. The visit underscored the governments commitment to advancing womens empowerment and the legacy of Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Holkars vision for a stronger, more self-reliant India.
