June 30 deadline for Samagra e-KYC completion

  • | Friday | 6th June, 2025

Divisional Commissioner Sanjeev Singh on Wednesday instructed officials to ensure 100 per cent completion of the Samagra e-KYC process through a focused, time-bound campaign by June 30. Chairing a review meeting, Singh said the earlier deadline of May 31 had been extended. He urged all municipal zonal officers to meet their responsibilities within the revised timeframe without fail. He emphasised that the e-KYC work should now proceed in mission mode, executed in a timely and outcome-driven manner to ensure government benefits reach eligible citizens efficiently. Municipal Commissioner Harendra Narayan Singh, Joint Commissioner Vinod Yadav, District e-Governance Manager Vikas Gupta, and zonal municipal officers were present at the meeting where these directives were issued. Singh instructed officials to urgently verify and remove duplicate Samagra IDs on the portal. He also ordered identification of member IDs through family IDs and completion of e-KYC for unverified individuals. He further directed that even Samagra IDs already updated on the ration portal, as listed by MPSEDC, must also complete the e-KYC process on the Samagra portal without delay. Concluding the meeting, Singh called for immediate action and accountability, underlining that the success of this campaign is essential for the proper delivery of welfare schemes.
