Leopard falls into water body, rescued

In Pandajagir village of Dewas district, a leopard that had fallen into a well was successfully rescued by the Forest Department team. A local villager, Kailash Patidar, spotted the leopard trapped in the well and immediately alerted the authorities. Under the direction of Divisional Forest Officer Amit Singh Chauhan and Deputy Divisional Officer Santosh Shukla, a rescue operation was launched. The team, led by Ranger Rajendra Kumar Solanki, included Deputy Ranger Basant Rao Navale, Beat In-Charge Hemraj Gokhale, Shivpratap Singh, and other forest personnel. Rescue experts Rajesh Chauhan, Ankit Mandloi, Dinesh Choudhary, and Manish Parmar used specialised technical equipment to safely lift the leopard out of the well. After the rescue, the leopard ran back into the forest. The local forest committee also played a vital role in the operation. Committee president Dilipsingh Bais, Antar Singh Bais, Babulal Patidar, Jitendra Patidar, Gopal Raipuriya, Pirulal Raipuriya, and other villagers provided significant support. The Forest Department expressed its gratitude to all those who contributed.
